
Attorney Mikeyia Dawkins, is an experienced litigator and trial attorney representing clients in civil disputes throughout Texas, including Dallas, Houston, and Austin areas. Ms. Dawkins holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas, Dual Masters of Laws in Health Law and Intellectual Property & Informational Law from the University of Houston, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Texas Southern University.
Ms. Dawkins has been practicing law for nearly a decade. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney where she built significant litigation experience. Ms. Dawkins then began practicing Civil and Personal Injury Law and spent the next six years as in-house counsel working on a wide array of personal injury cases for a major insurance company, where she handled more than 1,000 personal injury cases. Ms. Dawkins then began working as a Senior Attorney and Dallas Practice lead attorney of a Personal Injury Law firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Ms. Dawkins then took all of her knowledge and opened up her own Personal Injury Law Firm.

Ms. Dawkins has consistently been a leader in her community. She is an advocate for justice and enjoys volunteering in her community individually and with associated organizations, where she is always advocating for those who are unable to do so for themselves. As part of her legal practice, Ms. Dawkins performs Pro-Bono legal services to qualified individuals.
Ms. Dawkins excels in the courtroom, and also understands that trial is not the only way to resolve issues for her clients. Ms. Dawkins uses her extensive personal injury knowledge and experience as a negotiator to negotiate settlements when it is beneficial to her clients. Ms. Dawkins is also a Certified Mediator who has participated in hundreds of mediations, and she also has specialized training in Family Law Mediations. Ms. Dawkins conducts mediations virtually and in person.
